📔📚📖 In preference of information gathering, I love to read first, listen to music second, and watch recordings third. When I’m not trying to understand every aspect of the human body and following topics of movement, nutrition, and well-being, I read a lot of mystery/sci-fi/fantasy/mind-candy.
Despite voraciously reading fluffy works for distractions, I regularly include one or two non-fiction books. I’ve recently been working through Atomic Habits by James Clear, and I find it’s making a huge impact on how I relate with my personal life and business!
There are a handful of books that I hold onto when I need some inspiration. I’ve largely switched to e-books, since I read so much, but I actually keep a physical copy of these at the studio. Here are my go-to’s:
- The Tao of Jeet Kune Do, by Bruce Lee
- Striking Thoughts, by Bruce Lee
- Zen In The Martial Arts, by Joe Hyam
- When Things Fall Apart, by Pema Chodron
- The Velveteen Principles, by Toni Raiten-D’Antonio
More people I know prefer podcasts to books. I’d love to take a collection of YOUR favorite podcasts for inclusion in an upcoming post. 🙂 Reply back to share your podcasts and what you are presently reading… I’d love to know!
Have a fabulous weekend!
